About Our Work in Dallas

Dallas welcomed its new Regional Director and Branch Leader, Olivier Melnick, in the fall of 2021. After orienting himself to his new role, Olivier has begun developing Chosen People Ministries’ work in this region. Our work in Dallas, however, has been ongoing due to our many faithful volunteers as well as our relationship with Baruch Hashem and its Eitz Chaim Congregation and with Dallas Theological Seminary. Since 2014, we have been teaching and encouraging Christians to share the gospel with their Jewish friends. We have also conducted multiple seminars and holiday outreaches.

History of Jewish Work in Dallas

The work in Dallas began back in 1942 with Harry Marko, the “Singing Jewish Doctor,” with more missionaries deployed to this region over the years. In the early 1970s, Marty Waldman was officially put in charge of the Dallas Branch of Chosen People Ministries. He helped found Baruch Hashem Messianic Congregation, now one of the largest Messianic congregations in the country.
