Coming to the U.S. from Germany in 2007, my wife and I started a small outreach in Chicago, which resulted in a few people coming to faith. That resulted in the birth of our congregation. Today it consists of 33 members. At first, it was only the 4 of us. We came together every week, had Bible studies, and prayed together for more people to join us. Shortly after, we started inviting friends, co-workers, and family members.

We also started getting to know more people in the Russian-Jewish community. We started getting together in a small northern suburb of Chicago, where there was a large Russian-Jewish community, but no congregation or outreach. As time passed, people heard of us from friends and became interested. Today we are a big family and are seeing more and more people coming to us.
